What types of plastic bags does CDB Plastic manufacture?
CDB Plastic manufactures LDPE and HDPE bags across seven ranges: standard LDPE garbage bags (10–200 litre), drawstring bags, lemon and strawberry scented drawstring bags, TSE 13592 certified garbage bags, general-purpose garbage bags, and TSE 13819 certified medical waste bags. We also produce vest (T-shirt) bags, roll bags and custom printed packaging.
What certifications does CDB Plastic hold?
CDB Plastic is certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety). Our garbage bags are produced to TSE 13592 and our medical waste bags to TSE 13819, the Turkish Standards Institute specifications required for public-sector and hospital procurement. Certificate copies are available on request.
What is the difference between LDPE and HDPE bags?
HDPE (high-density polyethylene) bags are thinner and more durable with a wrinkled surface, and are used for supermarket bags, garbage bags and produce bags. LDPE (low-density polyethylene) bags are thicker and more flexible with a glossy surface, and are preferred for shopping bags, custom-designed bags and food packaging.
Does CDB Plastic export internationally?
Yes. We export to more than 20 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and have served over 1,000 customers since 2014. Export palletisation is available for bulk orders.
Can I order custom sizes, colours or printed bags?
Yes. Beyond the standard catalogue we produce non-standard dimensions and thicknesses, custom colours and logo printing, and private-label and retail packaging. Send your specification — size, thickness, colour, quantity and destination — and we will confirm feasibility and quote.
What are medical waste bags and which standard do they meet?
Our medical waste bags are red, double-layer, 100 microns, with bellows-free flat sealing, produced to the TSE 13819 standard required for collecting and disposing of infectious and hazardous clinical waste in Turkish healthcare facilities. They are available from 55×60 cm to 80×110 cm.
Does CDB Plastic produce recycled granules as well as bags?
Yes. We produce recycled HDPE and LDPE granules at our Beylikdüzü facility through a controlled process of collection, sorting, cleaning, shredding, extrusion, granulation, cooling and packaging. The granules are supplied to manufacturers, packaging companies and distributors, and are also used in our own bag production.
Are CDB Plastic bags made from recycled material?
It depends on the range. Industrial-size bags are produced with recycled materials, while the TSE 13592 range is manufactured from virgin raw materials to meet the standard tolerances. We can confirm the material for any specific product on request.
Where is CDB Plastic located?
CDB İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. is based at Beylikdüzü OSB Mahallesi 2. Bulvar No: 6/1, Beylikdüzü, İstanbul, Türkiye. The company was established in 2014 and both granule production and bag manufacturing take place at the same facility.
